Where’s the BEEF?? Right here and it’s 100% grass fed / finished and free of antibiotics and vaccinations. We raise mostly Black Angus with some Angus / Seminole mix and Charolais.
How our beef is sold? We typically sell 1/4, 1/2 or Whole beeves and individual parts when available. We charge $2.25/ lb live weight and $.50 / lb processing fee, we butcher our beef between 800 and 1000 lbs.
Therefore a 1000 lb steer will yield about 350 lbs of finished edible meat. At $2.25 /lb live weight and $.50 /lb processing fee, a 1000 lb steer would cost $2750, 1/2 of that steer would be $1375 (210 lbs) and 1/4 of that steer would be $687.50 (105 lbs). We guarantee a finished price per pound of $8.00 or less depending on yield. If the finished price exceeds $8 / lb we will adjust our fees.
