\u00a0Where’s the BEEF?? \u00a0Right here and it’s 100% grass fed \/ finished and free of antibiotics and vaccinations. \u00a0We raise mostly Black Angus with some Angus \/ Seminole mix and Charolais.<\/span><\/p>\n

How our beef is sold? \u00a0We typically sell 1\/4, 1\/2 or Whole beeves. \u00a0We charge $3.00 \/ lb live weight and $.50 \/ lb processing fee, we butcher our beef between 800 and 1200 lbs.<\/span><\/p>\n

We do offer a “Sixth of a beef or Third of a half beef”, but this offering has standard cuts versus our quarter, half and whole custom cuts.\u00a0 We charge $3.25 \/ lb live weight and $.50 \/ lb processing fee.\u00a0 The standard cuts are as follows:\u00a0 1 chuck roast, 1 pack flat iron, 2 to 3 boneless ribeye, 2 to 3 bone in NY Strip, 2 to 3 filet mignons, 2 sirloins, 2 sirloin tips, 2 round roasts, 3 to 4 round steaks, 2 one pound packs of stew meat, 1 large pack of short ribs and approx 20 to 25 lbs of hamburger.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A sixth of a beef will run approx $625.00 based on a 1000 lb beef.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore a 1000 lb steer will yield about 350 lbs of finished edible meat. \u00a0At $3.00 \/lb live weight and $.50 \/lb processing fee, a 1000 lb steer would cost $3500, 1\/2 of that steer would be $1750 (175 lbs) and 1\/4 of that steer would be $875 (87.5 lbs). \u00a0We guarantee a finished price per pound of $10.00 or less depending on yield.\u00a0 If the finished price exceeds $10 \/ lb we will adjust our fees.<\/span><\/p>\n
